    Teapot Yoshimura Tōen Kiln

The Bluish-White (青白磁) Hohin of the Yoshimura Tōen kiln from Higashi Sonogi-gun in Nagasaki Prefecture is a handmade masterpiece of Hasamiyaki ceramics. This special type of porcelain has its origins in the city of Hasami, where it was introduced around 400 years ago using techniques from Korea and has maintained a long tradition ever since.

Thanks to its flat and wide shape, this teapot is particularly suitable for high-quality teas. The leaves have enough space to fully unfold without rubbing against each other. This reduces the release of catechins and emphasizes the natural sweetness and gentle elegance of the tea.

The Hohin is precisely crafted and equally suitable for all types of tea - a versatile and elegant vessel for tea connoisseurs and lovers of Japanese ceramic art.
