The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with and deliveries made by London Tea Co. Ltd (Spalenberg 10, 4051 Basel, CHE‑105.902.117), hereinafter referred to as London Tea:
London Tea complies with the Data Protection Act and is committed to handling the personal data of Internet users with care. The following principles apply to the collection and use of personal data:
Personal Data
Personal data refers to information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes information such as name, address, phone number, and email address. This applies to both natural persons and legal entities regarding whom data is processed.
Collection of Personal Data
Personal data is collected only when it is necessary for the provision of services or for processing orders.
Use of Personal Data
The personal data collected by London Tea is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order. London Tea does not disclose any personal data to third parties.
Deletion of Personal Data

Prices: The prices listed in our quotes and order confirmations are generally binding. However, we reserve the right to correct errors and make technical changes. Listed unit prices refer to the normal retail price.
Presentation: The presentation of products in sales or promotional materials and in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer by London Tea, but rather an invitation to the customer to place a binding order (an offer to enter into a contract).
Ordering Process By clicking the “Order” button, the customer places a binding order for the products listed on the order page. The purchase contract is concluded only upon the seller’s express confirmation of the order. For online orders, confirmation is sent via email.
Items in stock are generally shipped within 48 hours. Under no circumstances shall delivery delays give rise to claims for damages or a right to rescind the contract. Deliveries and shipping are at the customer’s risk.
Returns
Buyers and sellers have no right to return or exchange goods after a sales contract has been concluded if the seller has delivered a product free of defects. Swiss sales law does not provide for the possibility of exchanging or returning defect-free items solely because they are not to the buyer’s liking.
Return Shipping Costs
Exercising the right
of return results in the conversion of the sales contract into a contract for rescission, under which the benefits received under the sales contract must be returned. The consumer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Refund
Once the merchandise has been received and inspected—provided it is in good condition—the purchase price already paid will be refunded to the customer.
Reservation
We reserve the right to deduct the purchase price to be refunded or to withhold such refund, and to issue an additional invoice for any damage, excessive wear and tear of the merchandise, or, if agreed upon, the cost of returning the merchandise.
Product Prices: Our prices are listed net in Swiss francs (CHF), including value-added tax (VAT), and in euros (EUR), including value-added tax (VAT). Prices are subject to change; errors and misprints excepted.
Shipping Rates
In addition to the listed prices, shipping charges may apply depending on the delivery address, quantity of goods, and items.
Shipping via B-Post
Packages are delivered via B-Post by default. Theshipping fee for orders within Switzerland and Liechtenstein is
CHF 8; shipping is free for orders of CHF 45 or more. Additional shipping costs are listed in the “Delivery & Shipping Costs” section.
Payment by invoice within 30 days
Payment is due within 30 days of the
invoice date. London Tea reserves the right to require payment in advance.
Late Payment
If the customer has neither paid the invoice in full nor raised a written and substantiated objection to it by the due date, the customer shall automatically be in default. The customer shall bear all costs incurred by London Tea Ltd. as a result of the late payment. In particular, the customer owes London Tea Ltd. a late payment interest of 5% as well as a reminder fee of CHF 10.– starting with the second reminder and CHF 30.– for the third and final reminder. London Tea Ltd. may engage third parties to collect the debt at any time. The customer must pay minimum fees directly to the third party engaged for this purpose and, in addition, reimburse that party for its individual expenses and out-of-pocket costs necessary for the collection.
Purchase on Account with Installment Option (POWERPAY)
MF Group / POWERPAY, as an external payment service provider, offers the “Purchase on Account” payment method. With the individual invoice, you can easily pay for your online purchase by invoice. If you do not make a payment within the specified time frame, you will receive a monthly invoice with an order summary the following month.
Upon conclusion of the purchase agreement, POWERPAY assumes the resulting invoice receivable and handles the corresponding payment arrangements. When purchasing on account, you agree to POWERPAY’s Terms and Conditions in addition to our own. (powerpay.ch/de/agb).
Credit Card Payment
When paying
by credit card, the customer’s account will be charged upon shipment of the goods, unless otherwise agreed. At the time of the order, the order amount will be reserved.
Discounts
Discounts or discount coupons (e.g., a coupon with a discount code or a newsletter voucher) can only be redeemed in accordance with the promotional terms and conditions specified for each offer. Multiple discounts and discount coupons cannot be combined or stacked.
London Tea is liable for the products delivered and services provided within the scope of statutory provisions and the following limitations. Liability for negligence, consequential damages, financial losses, or indirect damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The same applies to breaches of contract by agents and substitutes.
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is invalid, the remainder of the contract shall remain in effect. The relevant statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
Swiss law applies. The exclusive venue for legal proceedings is Basel.
