The special feature of this beautiful, deep green Japanese tea is its manufacturing process. Best Sencha quality is ground into fine powder, mixed with rice starch and water, pressed through a press, cut into 1 cm long needles and dried. The taste is intense, tart and it is lemon yellow in the cup.
