Xishuangbanna is the home of the Pu-Erh. The subtropical climate is ideal for cultivation, production and storage of these teas. However, the use of delicate tea buds in the process of post-fermentation is very laborious. Thus, they are only moistened and fermented again and again by hand over a period of about 70 days. The result compensates, the tea presents itself complex with fruity, earthy and sweet-chocolate notes . the taste is soft, earthy and aromatic.
