A top rarity from the northern and oldest growing region of Kandy in the Adams Peak mountain range on the island of Sri Lanka (Ceylon). It is carefully twisted and has many shiny silver tips (leaf tips). Its aroma is strong, round, malty and very aromatic. The cup is dark with a bright red shimmer. A very fine speciality for afternoon tea time.
