This organic Gyokuro is a special creation of our tea tasters, for which only the best daily harvests of Kagoshima are selected. After a three-week shading period, the leaves of this Japanese green tea are gently steamed to preserve the fine leaf structure. Then, depending on the texture, the individual batches receive a so-called "roasting finish" to intensify the aromas. After a storage period of several months, our Gyokuro is released in the fall. Our tea tasters fine-tune the composition of this top-quality blend every year in order to combine the characteristics of the cultivars used in a meaningful way and to achieve a well-rounded taste profile.
